When a villager is selected (not to be confused with a warrior or hero), the following actions are available.

Patrol |
Move to location. Tap to activate map actions. Note, clears other actions except the general pickup action. |

Tap plot |
Moves to plot. Upon reaching destination, goes back to initial location. Repeats indefinitely. |

Dig |
Dig dirt/grass/earth. Tap to activate map action. |

Tap grassland/dirt |
Villager acquires shovel if able, and then moves to and starts digging at tapped location, producing earth |

Chop |
Chop wood. Tap to activate map action. |

Tap forest |
Villager acquires hatchet/axe if able, and then moves to and starts cutting down the forest, producing wood in the process. |

Heal |
Button is used to heal your villagers and warriors. Tap to activate action. |

Tap |
If tapped villager is damaged, he will go heal - preferably in the infirmary. May summon medic if needed. |

Long tap |
Activates map actions. |
|
Tap Building |
If tapped building may heal and the villager is damaged, garrisons the villager in that building to heal. |

Wander |
Causes your villagers to explore the land or wander around. |

Tap |
Tapped villager will begin wandering. If in pickup mode, all destinations will have expiring items. If there are none and the map is not completely explored, all his destinations will be unexplored plots. |

Tap Pickup |
If wandering and has a container in hand, tap the Pick-Up button to "wander" to items lying on the ground and pick them up. After the container fills up, the villager will "wander" to an appropriate storage building and unload it there. |

Move to location. Tap to activate action. Note, these are listed in order of preference, and they clear other actions except the general pickup action. |

Gather Resources |
Generally used to pick up and put away items. Tap to activate action. |
